Am 2. August haben wir mit einer 16-köpfigen Gruppe an einer Werksführung im Mercedes-Werk in Sindelfingen teilgenommen. Die gigantisch großen Metallpressen, die Fließbandarbeit und die vielen Roboter in der Endmontage der E-Klasse waren beeindruckend und faszinierend. Zugleich weckte diese Fabrik für viele der Flüchtlinge sicher auch den Wunsch nach Arbeit, nach sinnvoller Beschäftigung und nach der Möglichkeit für die eigene Existenz sorgen zu können. Wenn sie gedurft hätten – sie hätten bestimmt gleich mit angepackt.
